1) Your App Must Have a Lead Capture or “squeeze page” function.

Ask your visitor to give their first name & email address at a minimum.  If they’ve responded to your push notification you have their cell number already.  Offer to give them a “free report” of some sort that may be of use to your customer if they will allow your push notifications and share a few other cell numbers of their friends who may need a similar product or service.

2) Ask For Feedback On Your App.

Ask your customers for feedback about your application, it’s functionality, frequency of push notifications.  Make sure to respond to their feedback even if it’s negative. Also, be sure not to send  too many notifications, you don’t want to seem spammy.  Once a week should be plenty unless you have some other need to be in more regular contact with your customers.

3) Find Out How Your Customers Are Using Your App.
